State: California
Measurement Period: 2023
This indicator shows the number of bicyclist-involved collisions resulting in bicyclist injury or death per 100,000 population.

Why is this important?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 700 people die and over 500,000 people are treated in emergency departments as a result of bicycle-related injuries.
