Compare Monterey County and its cities to Healthy People 2030 Targets. The Healthy People 2030 Targets are goals established by the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion to provide local organizations with goals against which to measure progress.
The SocioNeeds Index Suit are three indexes created by Conduent that populate compare Monterey County zip codes using multiple metrics in the area of health equity, food insecurity, and mental health.

Comparing Indicators
Begin comparing indicators by creating a custom dashboard, built to suit your needs. Select what you'd like to filter. If you leave a filter blank, it will return all of its categories.
- Indicators like Adults with Health Insurance
- Location; the county, city, or zip code you'd like to look at
- Comparisons like comparing to Healthy People 2030, the state, another city, or another zip code.
- Subgroups such as race and ethnicity, age, gender, grade, or education level. Not all indicators have all subgroups, so if seeing a certain subgroup is important, this filter option will help you get there!
- Sources such as the EPA or US Census.
Sort & Search
Select the "Additional Search Options" at the bottom of the page, and select how you'd like your dashboard ordered:
- Alphabetically
- Newest to oldest
- By Comparison TYpe
- Ascending Value
- Descending Value
When you have selected the order you like, click "Search" in the bottom right-hand corner.

Click the link below the search box that says "save a link to this search," and share the link wherever you'd like!
